A nonprofit editorial project with a public purpose
Latinos Who Inspire documents the leadership stories of Latin Americans shaping Canada and places those stories where public access matters most, including libraries, universities and community spaces. Our first book is designed as a public-interest archive, not a commercial product.
- Editorial standards: rights and releases, legal deposit, catalog-ready metadata
- Distribution-first model: copies placed in institutions across provinces
- Transparency: public reporting on placements, budgets and impact
Why we exist
Mission
To document and publish the leadership stories of Latin Americans shaping Canada, and to place those stories in public libraries and community spaces so they become accessible, teachable, and part of the public record.
Vision
A Canada where Latino contributions are visible in mainstream cultural memory, and where young readers can find role models that expand what feels possible.
From interviews to library shelves
Interview & research
We conduct interviews and editorial research to document real leadership stories with care, consent and accuracy.
Editorial production
We edit, translate (EN/FR print, ES digital), design and prepare catalog-ready metadata and legal deposit materials.
Distribution & placement
We place copies in public libraries, universities and community hubs, prioritizing provinces and institutions with public access.
How contributions translate into impact

Every CAD $22 funds one donated copy, covering printing, shipping and basic administration required to place the book in public-facing institutions.
We publish periodic updates on placements, budget allocation and progress. Individual supporter names are only listed with consent.

Print & prepare shipments
Books are printed and packaged for institutions and provinces.
Place copies & confirm receipt
We confirm delivery and track placements for public reporting.
Publish transparency updates
Placements, allocation and milestones are reported publicly.
